Steven Lee, Director of the Archie Bray Foundation, will bring together Chinese ceramics professionals and their North
American counterparts to exchange ideas and information. This is a
unique opportunity to make personal connections with contemporary ceramic artists in China.
The program will include visits to the cities of Beijing, Xi'an, Jingdezhen, Shanghai, with optional post-program extention to Lhasa (May 26-29, 2009).
Artists Jan Elftmann and Kelly Lyles will bring together Chinese contemporary artists and their North
American counterparts to exchange ideas and information. This is a
unique opportunity to make personal connections with Chinese artists, curators at museums and galleries, residencies, and academics in the colleges. The program will include visits to the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Zhouzhuang and Hangzhou.
